Promoted Faculty. Subd. 1. Faculty members who are promoted to the next higher rank shall advance two (2) steps on the salary schedule. The step movement provided for in this subdivision shall be implemented prior to the implementation of the minimum step placement provided for in Section L of this Article, and shall be in addition to the step movement provided in Section A, if any. Subd. 2. Promotions shall be effective with the start of the Fiscal Year following the President’s decision to promote.
