Protection and Control Overview. Existing protection and control systems will be removed to allow for the addition of the new systems. New protection and control systems will be designed to provide adequate protection to the Interconnection Customer’s 230 kV tie line as well as control for Transmission Owners new 230 kV motor operated switch on the Interconnection Customer’s 230 kV tie line. The Transmission Owner will construct one new relay panel in the Big Stone South Substation for line protection and the motor operated line switch. This relay panel will include the motor operated controls and associated relaying communications equipment to assist in protecting the Interconnection Customer’s 230 kV tie-line. This protection and control overview is assuming the generator tie line length is less than 1/2 mile to the Interconnection Customer’s new capacitor station, which requires redundant communication paths. Differing lengths of the tie line could require different preferred relaying communications and different relay design. The design of the protection and controls for the Interconnection Customer’s 230 kV tie line must provide adequate protection to the Interconnection Customer’s tie line from the Transmission Owner’s station.

Protection and Control Overview. New protection and controls will be designed and installed to provide adequate protection to the 230 kV bus created by moving to the breaker and a half design. The Transmission Owner’s protection and control standards will apply.  The existing protection scheme relays at the Big Stone South sub that serve the existing equipment will be adequate. Minor wiring modifications will be required for these existing schemes to interface with the new equipment.  The new major equipment will require new relaying and control panels. o 230kv breaker control panels – Two new panels will be constructed for the new ring breakers. The panels will include breaker controls and an SEL 351A for breaker failure, sync check, and reclosing. o 230kv bus panels – Two new panels will be constructed for bus protection for 230 kV buses created by moving to breaker and a half design. Panels will include an SEL 487B and associated equipment. o Alarm monitors and a data concentrator will be added to existing panels, or on new panels as panel space allows. Other Major Items Include • Foundations - New foundations are required for new 230kV breakers, switches, CCVT’s, and new buswork.

  • Certification of Funds; Budget and Fiscal Provisions; Termination in the Event of Non-Appropriation This Agreement is subject to the budget and fiscal provisions of the City’s Charter. Charges will accrue only after prior written authorization certified by the Controller, and the amount of City’s obligation hereunder shall not at any time exceed the amount certified for the purpose and period stated in such advance authorization. This Agreement will terminate without penalty, liability or expense of any kind to City at the end of any fiscal year if funds are not appropriated for the next succeeding fiscal year. If funds are appropriated for a portion of the fiscal year, this Agreement will terminate, without penalty, liability or expense of any kind at the end of the term for which funds are appropriated. City has no obligation to make appropriations for this Agreement in lieu of appropriations for new or other agreements. Contractor’s assumption of risk of possible non-appropriation is part of the consideration for this Agreement. THIS SECTION CONTROLS AGAINST ANY AND ALL OTHER PROVISIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT.

  • SUPERVISION AND CONSTRUCTION PROCEDURES 4.3.1 The Contractor shall supervise and direct the Work, using his / her best skill and attention. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for all construction means, methods, techniques, sequences and procedures and for coordinating all portions of the Work under the Contract.   • Records Administration and Audit a. The Contractor shall maintain books, records, documents, and other evidence pertaining to this Master Agreement and Orders placed by Purchasing Entities under it to the extent and in such detail as shall adequately reflect performance and administration of payments and fees. Contractor shall permit the Lead State, a Participating Entity, a Purchasing Entity, the federal government (including its grant awarding entities and the U.S. Comptroller General), and any other duly authorized agent of a governmental agency, to audit, inspect, examine, copy and/or transcribe Contractor's books, documents, papers and records directly pertinent to this Master Agreement or orders placed by a Purchasing Entity under it for the purpose of making audits, examinations, excerpts, and transcriptions. This right shall survive for a period of five (5) years following termination of this Agreement or final payment for any order placed by a Purchasing Entity against this Agreement, whichever is later, or such longer period as is required by the Purchasing Entity’s state statutes, to assure compliance with the terms hereof or to evaluate performance hereunder.

  • Electronic and Information Resources Accessibility and Security Standards a. Applicability: The following Electronic and Information Resources (“EIR”) requirements apply to the Contract because the Grantee performs services that include EIR that the System Agency's employees are required or permitted to access or members of the public are required or permitted to access. This Section does not apply to incidental uses of EIR in the performance of the Agreement, unless the Parties agree that the EIR will become property of the State of Texas or will be used by HHSC’s clients or recipients after completion of the Agreement. Nothing in this section is intended to prescribe the use of particular designs or technologies or to prevent the use of alternative technologies, provided they result in substantially equivalent or greater access to and use of a Product.

  • Accessibility of Web-Based Information and Applications For State Agency Authorized User Acquisitions: Any web-based information and applications development, or programming delivered pursuant to the contract or procurement, will comply with New York State Enterprise IT Policy NYS-P08-005, Accessibility of Web-Based Information and Applications as follows: Any web-based information and applications development, or programming delivered pursuant to the contract or procurement, will comply with New York State Enterprise IT Policy NYS-P08- 005, Accessibility of Web-Based Information and Applications as such policy may be amended, modified or superseded, which requires that state agency web-based information and applications are accessible to persons with disabilities. Web-based information and applications must conform to New York State Enterprise IT Policy NYS-P08-005 as determined by quality assurance testing. Such quality assurance testing will be conducted by the State Agency Authorized User and the results of such testing must be satisfactory to the Authorized User before web-based information and applications will be considered a qualified deliverable under the contract or procurement.

  • Agreement Administration and Communications A. Under this Agreement, either of the representatives of the Judicial Council identified below will monitor the Work and act as the Judicial Council’s liaisons with the Contractor:
