Protections Against Malicious Code. Supplier will and will require its Providers to: (a) Implement detection, prevention, and recovery controls to protect against malicious software (malware), which is no less than current industry best practice and train its Personnel on the prevention and detection of malicious software; (b) Ensure anti-malware mechanisms are deployed on all systems commonly affected by malware (e.g. PC’s and servers) and are capable of detecting, removing, and protecting against other forms of malicious software, including spyware and adware; and (c) Ensure anti-malware mechanisms are current, actively running, and capable of generating audit logs.
