Protective Gear. The City shall furnish all employees with full protective gear for response to emergencies. Such gear shall conform to the standards established by the National Fire Protection Association (N.F.P.A.) or by the City's Safety Committee. When an employee requests any article of approved turnout gear, it shall be ordered or replaced at the discretion of the Fire Chief as soon as possible.
