Your Children If your plan includes family coverage, each of your and your spouse’s children are eligible for coverage until the last day of the month in which they turn twenty-six (26). For purposes of determining eligibility for coverage, the term children means: • Natural children; • Step-children; • Legally adopted children; • Xxxxxx children who have been placed with you by an authorized placement agency or court order. A child for whom healthcare coverage is required through a Qualified Medical Child Support Order or other court or administrative order is also eligible for coverage. Your employer is responsible for determining if an order meets the criteria of a Qualified Medical Child Support Order. We may request more information from you to confirm your child’s eligibility. Disabled Dependents In accordance with R.I. General Law § 27-20-45, when your enrolled unmarried child reaches the maximum dependent age of twenty-six (26), he or she can continue to be considered an eligible dependent only if he or she is determined by us to be a disabled dependent. If you have an unmarried child of any age who is financially dependent upon you and medically determined to have a physical or mental impairment, which can be expected to result in death or which has lasted or can be expected to last for a continuous period of not less than twelve (12) months, that child is an eligible disabled dependent under this agreement. Please contact our Customer Service Department, to obtain the necessary form to verify the child’s disabled status. Periodically you may be asked to submit additional documents to confirm the child’s disabled status.

Children’s Privacy The Site and the Service are not directed to anyone under the age of 13. The Site does not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 13, or allow anyone under the age of 13 to sign up for the Service. In the event that we learn that we have gathered personal information from anyone under the age of 13 without the consent of a parent or guardian, we will delete that information as soon as possible. Children/Grandchildren An employee may purchase life insurance in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) as a package for all eligible children/grandchildren (as defined in Section 2A2 and 2A3 of this Article). For a new employee, child/grandchild coverage requires evidence of insurability if application is made after the initial effective date of coverage as defined in this Article, Section 5C. An employee who becomes eligible for insurance may purchase child/grandchild coverage without evidence of insurability if application is made within thirty (30) days of the initial effective date as defined in this Article. Child/grandchild coverage commences fourteen (14) calendar days after birth.
Paraeducators A Paraeducator who has successfully completed a probationary period of ninety (90) calendar days. The term Paraeducators shall include all Paraeducators as defined in Appendix B. Paraeducators will work a 186-day contract, 7½ hours per day and receive four (4) paid holidays unless otherwise specified.
School Nurses The salary of a nurse with a graduate nursing degree will be 90% of the XX Xxxx of Schedule A. The salary of a nurse with a BS Nursing Degree will be the same as the XX Xxxx of Schedule A.
After Children 17A) The Academy Trust will in respect of the Academy act in accordance with, and be bound by, all relevant statutory and regulatory provisions and have regard to any guidance and codes of practice issued pursuant to such provisions, as they apply at any time to a maintained school, relating to the designation of a person to manage the teaching and learning programme for children who are looked after by an LA and are registered pupils at the school. For the purpose of this clause, any reference to the governing body of a maintained school in such statutory and regulatory provisions, or in any guidance and code of practice issued pursuant to such provisions, shall be deemed to be references to the Governing Body of the Academy Trust. Internships The Hospital may establish internships for the purpose of meeting future projected nursing shortages and/or providing career opportunities where there are no internal qualified candidates for job postings. In such circumstances, the implementation and guidelines of such an arrangement will be determined locally by the Hospital and the Union subject to the following: Internships are designed to develop the Hospital’s staff in order to fill positions for which there are currently no qualified internal candidates and/or for which shortages are predicted within a five (5) year period. Internships enable hospitals to maximize the use of qualified internal staff to meet their human resources needs, while at the same time providing career development opportunities for their employees. To provide direction to the local parties in developing and implementing internship(s) the Ontario Nurses’ Association and Participating Hospitals have agreed to the following principles:
