Common use of Public Involvement Clause in Contracts

Public Involvement. The NRCS Connecticut State Conservationist will ensure the public is involved in the development of this State-based Prototype Agreement and participates in Section 106 review as set forth above in Section V (reference to other parties). NRCS Connecticut will ensure that public consultation is conducted with the appropriate individuals, groups, tribes, and units of government depending on the size and nature of the undertaking. For small practices on individual farms this will include the landowner and operator, any partners involved (such as the local conservation district), and (with the concurrence of the NRCS Connecticut State Conservationist) any individual or group who expresses interest in that undertaking.
