Common use of Public Participation Clause in Contracts

Public Participation. 1. In carrying out its activities, including meetings, the Committee may provide the means for the reception and consideration of the views of representatives of its labor and business organizations, as well as of persons with a legitimate interest in matters related to this Chapter. 2. For the purposes of paragraph 1, each Party shall establish or maintain and consult with national bodies of tripartite membership or establish mechanisms for that purpose, with the objective of providing views on matters relating to this Chapter.
