Restrictions on Business Activities There is no agreement, commitment, judgment, injunction, order or decree binding upon the Company or to which the Company is a party which has or could reasonably be expected to have the effect of prohibiting or materially impairing any business practice material to the Company, any acquisition of property by the Company or the conduct of business by the Company as currently conducted or as proposed to be conducted.
Activities Conducted Abroad The Subrecipient hereby acknowledges and agrees that it must ensure that project activities carried on outside the United States are coordinated as necessary with appropriate government authorities and that appropriate licenses, permits, or approvals are obtained.
Visitors to and Conduct on School Property Petitions or written correspondence to the Board shall be presented to the Board in the next regular Board packet. Written policies ensure legal compliance, establish Board processes, articulate District ends, delegate authority, and define operating limits. Board policies also provide the basis for monitoring progress toward District ends. Policy Development Anyone may propose new policies, changes to existing policies, or elimination of existing policies. Staff suggestions should be processed through the Superintendent. Suggestions from all others should be made to the Board President or the Superintendent. A Board Policy Committee will consider all policy suggestions, and provide information and recommendations to the Board. The Superintendent is responsible for: (1) providing relevant policy information and data to the Board,
Conducts activities regulated by (a) a Board member, or (b) an employee or by the Board member or another employee directing that employee;

Union Activities Restrictions If the Contract Amount is over $50,000, this section is applicable. Contractor agrees that no JBE funds received under this Agreement will be used to assist, promote or deter union organizing during the Term. If Contractor incurs costs, or makes expenditures to assist, promote or deter union organizing, Contractor will maintain records sufficient to show that no JBE funds were used for those expenditures. Contractor will provide those records to the Attorney General upon request.
Union Activities If the Contract Amount is $50,000 or more, no Judicial Council funds received under this Agreement will be used to assist, promote or deter union organizing during the term of this Agreement (including any extension or renewal term).
Special Rules Regarding Related Entities and Branches That Are Nonparticipating Financial Institutions If a Finnish Financial Institution, that otherwise meets the requirements described in paragraph 1 of this Article or is described in paragraph 3 or 4 of this Article, has a Related Entity or branch that operates in a jurisdiction that prevents such Related Entity or branch from fulfilling the requirements of a participating FFI or deemed-compliant FFI for purposes of section 1471 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code or has a Related Entity or branch that is treated as a Nonparticipating Financial Institution solely due to the expiration of the transitional rule for limited FFIs and limited branches under relevant U.S. Treasury Regulations, such Finnish Financial Institution shall continue to be in compliance with the terms of this Agreement and shall continue to be treated as a deemed- compliant FFI or exempt beneficial owner, as appropriate, for purposes of section 1471 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, provided that:
