Pupil-Teacher Ratio. (a) Elementary – The Board shall attempt to maintain an average ratio on a system- wide basis of 30 to 1. When an individual class load reaches 35, the administration shall attempt to reduce this number, with the exception of activity classes such as physical education and music which shall be limited to a maximum of 48.
