Common use of Purpose of Committee Clause in Contracts

Purpose of Committee. The purpose of the Joint Consultation Committee is to promote the cooperative resolution of workplace issues, to respond and adapt to changes in the economy that affect the University, to xxxxxx understanding between the University and the Faculty Association, to xxxxxx the development of work-related skills, and to promote workplace productivity. The Committee shall meet at least once every two months for the purpose of discussing issues relating to the workplace that affect the Parties or any Faculty Member bound by this Agreement. In exceptional circumstances the Committee shall meet at the request of either party.
