Training Reimbursement. The County Administrative Bulletin on Training shall govern reimbursement for training and shall limit reimbursement for career development training to seven hundred fifty dollars ($750) per year, except as otherwise provided in the supplemental sections of this MOU. Registration and tuition fees for career development education may be reimbursed for up to fifty percent (50%) of the employee’s net cost. Books necessary for courses taken for career development education may be reimbursed for up to one hundred percent (100%) of the employee’s net cost.
Training Reimbursement. The hours intended to be compensated and the reimbursement for travel and expenses should be established between the employee and the respective supervisor prior to the training. If not otherwise established, reimbursement and compensable hours shall be in accordance with current FLSA guidelines. Travel costs for mileage, meals and lodging shall be reimbursed in conformance with current Employer policy.
Training Reimbursement. 1. Subject to the availability of funds and approval by the Office of the Chief Public Health Nurse, the LHD may request reimbursement for:
a) Nursing service personnel participating in Principles and Practices of Public Health Nursing course. Reimbursement is $400 per participant upon successful completion of the course. Reimbursement requests must be filed by the LHD to the Public Health Nursing and Professional Development Unit within the same fiscal year the course is completed.
b) LHD Management/Supervision level staff participating in the Management and Supervision for Public Health Professionals course. Reimbursement is $600 per participant upon successful completion of the course. Reimbursement requests must be filed by the LHD to the Public Health Nursing and Professional Development Unit within the same fiscal year the course is completed. 2. Subject to the availability of funds and approval by the Environmental Health Section, the LHD may request reimbursement for Centralized Intern Training (CIT) and a one-time mileage allocation. Reimbursement requests must be filed by the LHD to the Environmental Health Section within the same fiscal year the training is completed. Reimbursement requires successful completion of the course and requests must be filed by the LHD within 60 days course completion. a) For Interns attending CIT sessions, reimbursement amounts are based on the session attended:
1) Food Protection & Facilities Track — $280
2) On-Site Water Protection Track — $560
3) Tier 2 General EH Module — $280
b) For Cross-training Registered Environmental Health Specialists (REHS) attending CIT sessions, reimbursement amounts are based on the session attended:
1) Food, Lodging, & Institutions— $170
2) Child Care & School Sanitation— $62
3) On-site Water Protection— $450
4) Private Drinking Water Xxxxx— $62
5) Public Swimming Pools— $62
6) Tattoo— $62
c) A one-time mileage allocation per two REHSs from the same county per training session is based on one of the four geographical areas they are employed.

Training Reimbursement. Any employee in a classification listed in Attachment A who has served a minimum of (1) year of satisfactory service may apply for tuition reimbursement in an amount of 100% for courses that, in the sole discretion of the Court, pertains to the duties of a current or higher classification of Court service. Application for reimbursement will be made prior to the date of enrollment and, if approved by the Court Executive Officer, or his/her designee, reimbursement shall be subject to successful completion of the course and availability of funds. Application forms for reimbursement shall be made available through the supervisor. If an employee so reimbursed resigns from the Superior Court within two years following completion of the course, the amount of the tuition reimbursed shall be repaid to the Court. No reimbursement shall be made if the employee is eligible to receive reimbursement for said tuition under a Federal or State Veteran’s benefit program or from other public funds.
Training Reimbursement. Compensation associated with training or representation of the Employer on official business shall be consistent with the current policy and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and WAC 000-000-000. Reimbursement of associated costs shall be consistent with City Policy.

Training Reimbursement. Classified employees may be reimbursed for special training at the technical school or college level if this training pertains to the assigned job and the Superintendent approves it prior to taking the course. The total reimbursement for this section shall not exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) per school year nor more than four hundred fifty ($450.00) per semester hour. Employees are expected to attend all required seminars and may be requested to attend seminars related to their positions as determined by their supervisor. All regular classified and regular substitute employees shall be reimbursed for local, state, or federally mandated tests, licenses, medical exams, and fees required for their current position, excluding any reimbursement provided on their behalf by local, state, or federal agencies. The Board will arrange a plan to do the medical physical.
Training Reimbursement. I. Public Safety Exceptions to Tuition Reimbursements Management agrees to meet without impasse annually with MEA to review specific unique Public Safety exceptions to the Tuition Reimbursement process. Management’s decision shall be final and non-grievable.
Training Reimbursement. Represented employees shall be on paid status when required to attend educational programs scheduled during normal working hours. Employees assigned to attend educational programs outside of regular work hours shall be compensated at straight time.
Training Reimbursement. Any employee required to attend a course, workshop, meetings, or training session as a condition of employment shall have all reasonable and necessary fees, tuition, supplies reimbursed by the Employer. The employee shall also be paid at his/her appropriate hourly rate for the time actually spent at said activity, excluding travel time.
