Pursuant to the statutory provisions of the State Workers' Compensation System the district has a right to have bargaining unit members examined by a physician or psychologist designated by the district at the district's expense to assist in determining the length of time the bargaining unit members will be temporarily unable to perform assigned duties and the degree to which a disability is attributable to the injury involved.
