QUALIFICATIONS OF SURETY COMPANIES. In order to be acceptable to the County, a Surety company issuing the Bid Bond, the Performance Bond and the Payment Bond, if called for in these Specifications, shall meet and comply with the following minimum standards:

QUALIFICATIONS OF SURETY COMPANIES. Failure to submit a Bid Bond from a Surety Company meeting these minimum standards shall result in rejection of the bid. Certified Checks or Cashier's Checks shall be drawn on a solvent bank or trust company to the order of The Board of County Commissioners and shall have all necessary documentary revenue stamps attached, if required by law. Personal checks are not acceptable to the County. See General Terms and Conditions, "Qualifications of Surety Companies" for additional requirements.
