Rate of Pay/Increments of Use. Sick leave will be paid at the employee’s rate of pay for that job and shift for the hours the employee was scheduled to work on that day. Employees shall be eligible to use sick leave immediately upon accrual. When using sick leave, employees will report sick leave consistent with rules for entering hours worked and vacation leave.

  • Pay Increments 44.5.1 Except as provided in sub-clauses 44.5.4 and 44.5.5 of clause 44.5 an employee holding an appointment at one of the classification levels listed in Schedule 1 of this Agreement shall be granted pay increments on completion of the applicable pay increment period until he reaches the maximum rate in the scale of rates for the classification level to which he is appointed.

  • Daily Rate of Pay In applying these provisions an employee's daily rate of pay shall be the daily rate including career increments at the time of retirement, as provided in the basic salary schedule for the fiscal year, and shall not include any additional compensation for overtime, or other extra compensation.

  • Increment Dates 1. The increment date shall be the first of the month following the month in which applicable experience accumulation is achieved.
