Reapproval. The District shall approve administrative leave beyond 15 calendar days in 30 day increments. After an employee has been on administrative leave for 15 calendar days, the Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources (or his/her designee if the Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources is not available) shall determine whether there is evidence to support the conclusion that the employee’s presence in the workplace poses a continuing risk of harm to staff or students, disruption of the educational environment, or interference with the investigation. If the employee’s presence in the workplace would not pose a continuing risk, the employee will be returned to work. If an employee continues on administrative leave after the 15-day review, his or her administrative leave status will be reviewed by the Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources (or his/her designee if the Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources is not available) every 30 days thereafter.
