Common use of REBIDDING Clause in Contracts

REBIDDING. In the event the bids exceed the Project Budget and the District authorizes rebidding of all or portions of the Project, the Construction Manager shall cooperate in revising the scope and the quality of work as required to reduce the construction costs for the Project. The Construction Manager, without additional compensation, shall cooperate with the District and Architect as necessary to bring construction costs within the Project Budget.

REBIDDING. In the event the bids exceed the Project Budget by five percent (5%) or greater and the District authorizes rebidding of all or portions of the Project, the Construction Manager shall cooperate in revising the scope and the quality of work as required to reduce the construction costs for the Project. The Construction Manager, without additional compensation, shall cooperate with the District and Architect as necessary to bring construction costs within the Project Budget. In the event the Construction Manager is required to rebid the project due to State funding issues and/or delays, the Construction Manager shall be compensated for the actual costs associated with the rebidding effort.
