Receipts, Rebuttal to Derogatory Material. The Unit Member shall be provided with a copy of any evaluation or derogatory material before it is placed in his/her personnel file. The Unit Member shall also be given an opportunity during the duty day, but not during student contact time, to initial and date the evaluation. The Unit Member shall also have five (5) days but not during student contact time, to prepare a written response to such material. Negative or derogatory materials must be based upon documented or factual evidence.
