Common use of Recipient Cost Share or Match Clause in Contracts

Recipient Cost Share or Match. Any non–Federal share, whether in cash or in– kind, is expected to be paid out at the same general rate as the Federal share. Exceptions to this requirement may be granted by the AO based on sufficient documentation demonstrating previously determined plans for or later commitment of cash or in–kind contributions. In any case, the Recipient must meet their cost share commitment over the life of the award.
