Common use of Recognition for Work Experience Clause in Contracts

Recognition for Work Experience. a) The employees in this group will be given full credit for all past professional work experience directly relevant to assigned positions. Work experience in non-school settings (such as hospitals, rehabilitation centres, government, universities, etc.) will be considered providing the employee is an accredited member of a professional body that regulates their profession. Each year of relevant work experience will be considered as one year of experience for purposes of placement on the Salary Scale.
