Common use of Recommendation by the University Personnel Committee Clause in Contracts

Recommendation by the University Personnel Committee. The Xxxxxxx/Vice President for Academic Affairs shall present all evaluation portfolios, promotion recommendations, and supporting reasons to the University Personnel Committee. The University Personnel Committee shall submit a written recommendation to the Xxxxxxx/Vice President for Academic Affairs for each eligible Employee. Negative recommendations shall be supported with written reasons based on the performance standards, Division/Department/Unit criteria, and materials as specified in Sections 17.5 and 17.6. The Xxxxxxx/Vice President for Academic Affairs may review the recommendations with the University Personnel Committee. A copy of the University Personnel Committee recommendation, with supporting reasons in the event of a negative recommendation, shall be provided to the Employee being evaluated.
