Records at local office. The Contractor shall maintain all accounting and other records related to Petroleum Operations in the English language in Guyana. The Contractor must maintain all books, records and documents mentioned in this Article, and make such books, records, and documents available for inspection in until the later of:
(a) eight (8) years following the end of the Calendar Year to which they relate;
(b) if any cost or amount is under dispute at the term of the eight (8) year period set forth above, until the date the dispute is settled; or
(c) such longer period as may be required by Law.
Records at local office. Operator and/or Contractor shall maintain, at its Paramaribo office in Suriname, complete books of accounts, original invoices, sales records and supporting documents, tax returns and other financial documents in accordance with this Contract.

In any case original documents and records shall be available to Staatsolie upon its request.
