Recruitment of Apprentices. The University shall have the sole authority to determine the number of apprenticeship positions and to hire into these positions. Vacancies for apprentices shall be posted in accordance with 12.03 (a). Applicants must have the skills, abilities and qualifications to perform the requirements of the position. If there is no employee applicant with the skill ability and qualifications to perform the requirements of the position, UWO may fill the position from any source.
