Rectification of Safety Hazard & Emergency Work. i. Where, because of the existence of a safety hazard, a site has been stopped for a defined period of time and Employees sent off site by agreement between the Company and any combination of HSRs/Union/Safety Committee, those people who remain on site to do rectification work and emergency work will be paid at the rate of double time for all such work. ii. This is not applicable to normal dewatering or housekeeping, or where normal rectification occurs in a section of the site declared unsafe and whilst the remainder of the site carries on working.
