Recycling and Beverage Container Programs. The Concessionaire shall implement a source reduction and recycling program designed to minimize concession and patron use of disposable products, per Public Contract Codes §12161 and 12200 et seq. Reusable and recyclable products are preferred over "throwaways.” Where disposable products are needed, products that have the least impact on the environment will be selected. No Styrofoam containers or other non-biodegradable containers are to be used or sold by Concessionaire. The use of "post- consumer" recycled products is encouraged wherever possible. The Concessionaire shall participate in the California beverage container redemption/recycling program. Products to be recycled include, but are not limited to, paper, newsprint, cardboard, bimetal, plastics, aluminum and glass.
