Common use of Reemployment of Non-Probationary Teachers Clause in Contracts

Reemployment of Non-Probationary Teachers. 36.7.1 If a position becomes available in the District in the same endorsement area where non- probationary teachers’ contracts have been canceled within one (1) year after the effective date of such cancellation(s), former teacher or teachers will be offered reemployment by the District in the reverse order that their contracts were canceled. When reemployed, the teacher would be placed at the position on the salary schedule earned when cancellation of contract occurred.
