Refreshment breaks. Refreshment breaks shall be equivalent to 5 minutes for each hour worked and shall be divided as agreed by the employer and employee. Refreshment breaks shall normally consist of 15 continuous minutes. Work done during refreshment breaks shall be paid for at after-hours or overtime rates or shall result in a corresponding shortening of working hours.

Refreshment breaks. It is authorised to agree on an arrangement for refreshment breaks, which is other than that in the main collective bargaining agreement.

Payment for coffee breaks that are not taken within these limits is made in a similar way as in Article 16.5.1. 16.5.4 If there is an agreement between the parties to cancel one or both coffee breaks, day work is shortened correspondingly. 16.5.5 If employees work past 20:00 without taking a meal break, then they shall have free food or food allowance pursuant to Article 3.4.2. 16.5.6 Separate coffee facilities at the workplace are not obligatory when one worker is working in a closed and heated machine and not in a working team. If it is predictable that a task will last longer than one month at the same location, the employee shall have access to coffee facilities from the first day. Facilities shall be arranged at the workplace or the employee shall be provided with transport to another place which has coffee facilities.

For office workers, the refreshment break shall be 15 minutes per day, based on full daytime work. Part-time workers shall receive proportional refreshment breaks. Refreshment breaks may be omitted or shortened by agreement in the workplace, with working hours being shortened accordingly.
Refreshment breaks. Where practicable, tea and coffee making facilities will be provided by PWCS without cost to the employees and such facilities shall be located in a place convenient to the work area. Employees will be permitted to take advantage of the tea and/or coffee making facilities during working hours provided always that before leaving their place of work the employees must ensure, by arrangement with the team, that if necessary, relief personnel is available and there will be no disruption to continuous operations.

Refreshment breaks. 16.5.1. By agreement between the parties, lunch breaks may be reduced to 30 minutes, and overtime shall begin sooner accordingly. 16.5.2. Lunch breaks may be provided during the period from 11:30 AM to 01:30 PM. If a meal break cannot be had within the agreed time limits, the lunch break worked shall be paid as overtime. 16.5.3. Coffee breaks shall be taken at the workplace as is most suitable for the performance of work at each time and within the following limits: from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM and from 03:00 PM to 04:00 PM. The payment for coffee breaks not taken within these time limits shall be subject to the same provisions as those in Article 16.5.1. 16.5.4. If there is an agreement between the parties to cancel one or both coffee breaks, the daytime work shall be shortened accordingly. 16.5.5. In the event that employees work beyond 08:00 PM without taking a meal break, they shall have free food or a food allowance pursuant to Article 3.4.2. 16.5.6. No dedicated coffee facilities are required at the workplace when one person works in closed and heated equipment and not in a work group. However, if work is envisaged to last longer than one month at the same site, the employee shall have access to coffee facilities from the first day. Facilities shall then be set up at the workplace, or the employee shall be provided a means to travel to another place where coffee facilities are available.
