REFUND OF ANNUAL PRACTISING CERTIFICATE. Where a laboratory employee is required by law to hold an annual practising certificate in order to practise that profession or trade with the employer, the cost of the certificate shall be refunded to the employee provided that: • It must be a statutory requirement that a current certificate be held for the performance of duties. • The employee must be engaged in duties for which the holding certificate is a requirement. • The employee must be a member of the particular occupational class to whom the requirement applies.
