Registry Referrals and Consumer Choice. ‌ Referrals are generated based on search criteria entered by the consumer or the consumer’s representative and the profile information entered by the HCWs/PSWs. A random customized list of matching referrals including Individual Worker Summaries will then be provided upon request to the consumer for the Consumer/Employer to choose a worker. DHS/OHA will ensure Consumer/Employers are made aware of their option to request a list off the Registry. Professional Development Recognition and Enhanced/Exceptional Workers will be identified on the referral match list. The Consumer/Employer maintains the right to select and terminate employment of the HCW/PSW.
