Regular and Probationary Teaching Faculty. 14.01.1 The employment year for Regular and Probationary Teaching Faculty Members normally begins on 1 August and continues through 31 July of the following year. The employment year consists of, typically, two academic teaching semesters, twenty-two (22) working days per year for professional development, practice and research activities and an annual vacation period of forty-three working days. 14.01.2 Full-time Regular and Probationary Faculty Members are required to fulfill workloads as set out below. Workloads shall be pro-rated for part-time Regular and Probationary Faculty Members. 14.01.3 Prior to the commencement of each academic year, the Xxxx and/or designate shall assign workloads in consultation with each Regular and Probationary Faculty Member. Workload assignments shall consider: 14.01.4 Every reasonable effort will be made to assign workload by 15 February of the prior academic year.
