The Appeal Process. 12.08.1 The appeal process provides a mechanism to review decisions made by the President that result in:
12.08.2 The appeal process is initiated when a Faculty Member submits a request to appeal the tenure and promotion review decision within ten working days following receipt of the written copy of the decision. The request to appeal must address the grounds as outlined in Article 12.08.4.

The Appeal Process. 1. The Appeal process is the Health Plan's procedure for addressing Enrollee Appeals, which are requests for review of an Action.
2. An Enrollee, or a provider (whether a participating Provider or a nonparticipating provider) acting on behalf of an Enrollee and with the Enrollee's written consent, may file an Appeal.
3. The Appeal procedure must be the same for all Enrollees.
The Appeal Process. Where there is a dispute in the decision to not approve funding for your business plan you may appeal. All appeals must be in writing and submitted to the Thunderbird Trust. It will then be submitted to Trustees for review within a reasonable timeframe.
The Appeal Process. 9.1 An applicant will be afforded the right to appeal the decision made in respect of their application for flexible working within 5 working days of receipt of the written decision by the Head Teacher, Head of Establishment or Line Manager. Any appeal must be submitted in writing, using the appropriate form (Appendix 2) and emailed in the first instance to the HR Education Business Support mailbox at xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx.xx who in turn will submit it to the Education Senior Manager (Developing People) for consideration at Stage 2. The Education Senior Manager (Developing People) will chair the appeal (or delegate to an appropriate colleague from the Education Leadership team). The appeal must be dated and set out clearly the grounds for the appeal which should address the business reasons given for refusal.
9.2 In considering an appeal under LNCT 31, all employees are reminded that un- promoted teachers covered by SNCT conditions of service are appointed to the Local Authority area, and not to a particular school. All employees have a contractual obligation to transfer from one educational establishment to another, at the exigencies
The Appeal Process. If, following negotiations, the agreement still does not meet accepted parameters regarding policies of the Institute, the issue of whether to accept or reject the award is referred to appeal. RAF solicits the opinion of all interested stakeholders and refers these positions to appeal with the pertinent supporting documentation. The appeal will then promptly be heard and determined by an Appeals Committee comprised of the Vice President for Research, the Xxxxxxx, and the General Counsel.
The Appeal Process. An applicant will have the right to appeal the decision made in respect of their request for approval to apply for a secondment within 5 working days of receipt of the written decision referred to in paragraph 3.6. Any appeal must be submitted in writing using the appropriate form (Appendix 3) to the Education Senior Manager who will appoint an appropriate senior manager from the Education Leadership Team to act as chair of the appeal hearing. The Appeal Process. If the decision made is to refuse the request, the employee may raise an appeal. The appeal must be made within 14 days of the decision being confirmed in writing. An appeal must be made in writing to the Service Manager. The Service Manager will arrange to meet with the employee, their representative and the Head Teacher, normally within 14 days from when they receive the request, to consider the appeal. Employees should be aware that changes to working hours, for example reducing the total number of hours you work, will affect other terms and conditions such as pay and pension entitlement. Pay is pro rata based upon part of the 35 hour week contracted for. Incremental progression is not dependant on hours worked per week. Pensions are in two parts. The career average part is based on pay and employees should be aware that both their own and the employer’s contributions will be reduced. The final salary part is based on length of service and equivalent full-time salary. Therefore, working part time, for example, 0.5fte, will only accrue that amount of service for year.
