Reimbursable Expenses for Substance Abuse Coun- sellors. (a) Transportation of an employee by a counsellor to and from a treatment centre or airport (seven days per week) will be paid. Costs will be reimbursed at a rate of $0.29 per kilometre. Expenses will be limited to a maximum of 1,400 km per trip. The Company car will be provided where possible. (b) Airport parking is set at one day maximum. (c) Meal allowance, during times of transportation in excess of three hours, will be paid to a maximum of $20.00 per day. (d) Receipts must accompany expense submissions.

  • Contractor Responsibility for System Agency’s Termination Costs If the System Agency terminates the Contract for cause, the Contractor shall be responsible to the System Agency for all costs incurred by the System Agency and the State of Texas to replace the Contractor. These costs include, but are not limited to, the costs of procuring a substitute vendor and the cost of any claim or litigation attributable to Contractor’s failure to perform any Work in accordance with the terms of the Contract.

  • Child Care Expenses (a) Where an employee is requested or required by the Employer to attend: (i) Employer endorsed education, training and career development activities, or (ii) Employer sponsored activities which are not included in the normal duties of the employee's job, and are outside their headquarters or geographic location, such that the employee incurs additional child care expenses, the employee shall be reimbursed for the additional child care expenses up to $60 per day upon production of a receipt. (b) Where an employee, who is not on leave of absence, attends a course approved by the Employer outside the employee's normal scheduled work day such that the employee incurs additional child care expenses, the employee shall be reimbursed for the additional child care expense up to $30 per day upon production of a receipt. This reimbursement shall not exceed 15 days per calendar year. (c) Reimbursement in (a) or (b) shall only apply where no one else at the employee's home can provide the child care. (d) The receipt shall be a signed statement including the date(s), the hourly rate charged, the hours of care provided and shall identify the caregiver/agency.

  • Indemnification for Expenses of a Party Who is Wholly or Partly Successful Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Agreement except for Section 27, to the extent that Indemnitee was or is, by reason of Indemnitee’s Corporate Status, a party to (or a participant in) and is successful, on the merits or otherwise, in any Proceeding or in defense of any claim, issue or matter therein, in whole or in part, the Company shall, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, indemnify, hold harmless and exonerate Indemnitee against all Expenses actually and reasonably incurred by him or her in connection therewith. If Indemnitee is not wholly successful in such Proceeding but is successful, on the merits or otherwise, as to one or more but less than all claims, issues or matters in such Proceeding, the Company shall, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, indemnify, hold harmless and exonerate Indemnitee against all Expenses actually and reasonably incurred by him or her or on his or her behalf in connection with each successfully resolved claim, issue or matter. If Indemnitee is not wholly successful in such Proceeding, the Company also shall, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, indemnify, hold harmless and exonerate Indemnitee against all Expenses reasonably incurred in connection with a claim, issue or matter related to any claim, issue, or matter on which Indemnitee was successful. For purposes of this Section and without limitation, the termination of any claim, issue or matter in such a Proceeding by dismissal, with or without prejudice, shall be deemed to be a successful result as to such claim, issue or matter.

  • Sales and Use Taxes Professional Business Manager and the Practice acknowledge and agree that to the extent that any of the services to be provided by Professional Business Manager hereunder may be subject to any state sales and use taxes, Professional Business Manager may have a legal obligation to collect such taxes from the Practice and to remit the same to the appropriate tax collection authorities. The Practice agrees to have applicable state sales and use taxes attributable to the services to be provided by Professional Business Manager hereunder treated as an Office Expense.
