REIMBURSEMENT FOR PERSONAL. TRANSPORTATION All employees who have been authorized to use their own transportation on County business shall be reimbursed at the rate established through ordinance by the County Council. King County provides coverage for liability to a third party, and property damage to an employee’s personal vehicle, if the use of an employee’s personal vehicle was authorized, the employee is traveling during their work day (not commuting), and they were acting in good faith and within the course and scope of their employment. This does not supersede benefits outlined in the Transportation Article in the Department of Assessments, Public, Professional & Office-Clerical Employees and Drivers, Teamsters Local 763 Appendix (CBA Code 220).
