Payment for period of leave. 30.9.1. Each employee before going on leave shall be paid the amount of wage he/she would have received in respect of the ordinary time which he/she would have worked had he/she not been on leave during the relevant periods. For the purpose of this clause and 29.1 wages shall be at the rate prescribed by the relevant part of Schedule 3 for the classification in which the employee was ordinarily employed immediately prior to the commencement of his/her leave.
Payment for period of leave. (a) Payment to an Employee in respect of long service leave will be made in one of the following ways:
(i) in full in advance when the Employee commences his/her leave; or
(ii) at the same time as payment would have been made if the Employee had remained on duty; in which case payment will, if the Employee in writing so requires, be made by cheque posted to a specified address; or
(iii) in any other way agreed between the Employer and the Employee.
(b) Where the employment of an Employee is for any reason terminated before he/she takes any long service leave to which he/she is entitled, or where any long service leave accrues to an Employee pursuant to subclause 82.1(b)(ii), the Employee will subject to the provisions of subclause 82.4(c) be entitled to pay in respect of such leave as at the date of termination employment.
(c) Where any long service leave accrues to an Employee pursuant to subclause 82.1(b)(iii) the Employee will be entitled to pay in respect of such leave as at the date of termination of employment.
(d) Provided in the case of an Employee of an Institution or Statutory Body who accrues entitlement pursuant to subclause 82.1(b)(iii) and who intends to be re-employed by another Institution or Statutory Body:
(i) such an Employee may in writing request payment in respect of such leave to be deferred until after the expiry of the Employee's allowable period of absence from employment provided in subclause 82.2(d)(vii); and
(ii) except where the Employee gives the Employer notice in writing that the Employee has been employed by another Institution or Statutory Body, the Employer will make payment in respect of such leave at the expiry of the Employee's allowable period of absence from employment; and
(iii) where the Employee gives the Employer notice in writing that the Employee has been employed by another Institution or Statutory Body the Employer is no longer required to make payment to the Employee in respect of such leave.
(e) Where an increase occurs in the ordinary time rate of pay during any period of long service leave taken by the Employee, the Employee will be entitled to receive payment of the amount of any increase in pay at the completion of such leave.
Payment for period of leave. 32.7.1 Each employee, before going on leave, shall be paid in advance the wages which would ordinarily accrue to him/her during the currency of the leave.
32.7.2 In addition to the payment prescribed in 32.7.1 an employee shall receive during a period of annual leave a loading of 17-1/2 per centum calculated on the rates, loadings and allowances prescribed by Appendix A (including fares and travelling time). The loading prescribed above shall also apply to proportionate leave on lawful termination.
Payment for period of leave. (a) Payment to an Employee in respect of long service leave will be made in one of the following ways:
(i) in full in advance when the Employee commences his/her leave; or
Payment for period of leave. 24.6.1 The employer of an employee who is entitled to and takes leave pursuant to this clause shall pay such leave at the employee’s rate of salary current during that period of leave. Provided that where by agreement between an employer and the employee the taking of the leave due to the employee or any portion of it is postponed to meet the convenience of the employee the rate of payment therefore shall be that operative at the time of accrual to the employee of the leave entitlement concerned.
24.6.2 Payment shall be made in one of the following ways:
(i) in advance for the whole of the period at the commencement thereof;
(ii) at the same time or times as payment would have been made if the employee had remained on duty in which case payment shall, if the employee in writing so requires, be made by cheque posted to an address specified by the employee or through inter Bank transfer; or
(iii) in any other way agreed between the employer and the employee.
Payment for period of leave. 49.4.1 Payment to an Employee in respect of long service leave shall be made in one of the following ways:
a. in full in advance when the Employee commences his or her leave; or
b. at the same time as payment would have been made if the Employee had remained on duty, in which case payment shall, if the Employee in writing so requires, be made by cheque posted to a specified address; or
c. in any other way agreed between the Employer and the Employee.
49.4.2 Where the employment of an Employee is for any reason terminated before he or she takes any long service leave to which he or she is entitled or where any long service leave accrues to an Employee pursuant to clause 49.1.2(b) Employee shall, subject to the provisions of clause 49.4.4(c) be entitled to pay in respect of such leave as at the date of termination of employment.
49.4.3 Where any long service leave accrues to an Employee pursuant to clause 49.1.2
Payment for period of leave. A team member going on Annual Leave shall be paid in addition to their ordinary time earnings for the period of leave a loading of 17.5% prior to the commencement of such leave.
Payment for period of leave. Each employee before going on leave shall be paid for the period of leave at the applicable rate of pay for the occupation in which the employee was ordinarily employed immediately prior to the commencement of his or her leave or the termination of his or her employment, as the case may be.
Payment for period of leave. (a) Subject to the provisions of 27.4(c) below, the rate of payment to which an employee on leave shall be entitled shall be, in the case of a full-time weekly time worker, the employee's actual rate of pay. The actual rate of pay is the total amount an employee would receive if the employee was performing ordinary hours of work and shall not include overtime, penalty rates, disability allowance, shift allowance, special rates, fares and travelling time allowance and any other extraneous payment of a like nature.
(b) Payment shall be made in one of the following ways:
(i) in advance for the whole of the period when the employee commences the period of leave, at the rate calculated in accordance with 27.4(a) above; or
(ii) at the same times as payment would have been made if the employee had remained on duty, in which case payment shall, if the employee in writing so requires, be made by cheque posted to an address specified by the employee; or
(iii) in any other way agreed between the Company and the employee.
(c) If during the period of leave any variation provided for by this agreement to rates of pay occurs which, had the employee been at work, would have resulted in a change in the employee’s actual rate of pay, as defined in 27.4(a) above, the rate of payment to which an employee on leave shall be entitled shall be, as from the date upon which such change would have been operative, the changed rate and. if payment has been made in advance to any employee in respect of long service leave the Company shall, upon the employee's return to duty, adjust such advance payment to accord with such changed rate of pay to the extent to which the changed rate is applicable.
Payment for period of leave. 4.1 Payment to a Practitioner in respect of long service leave will be made in one of the following ways:
4.1.1 in full in advance when the Practitioner commences leave; or
4.1.2 at the same time as payment would have been made if the Practitioner had remained on duty; or
4.1.3 in any other way agreed between Western Health and the Practitioner.
4.2 Where the employment of the Practitioner is for any reason terminated before taking long service leave to which the Practitioner is entitled or where any long service leave accrues to a Practitioner pursuant to clause 1.2.3, the Practitioner will, subject to the provisions of clause 4.3, be entitled to pay in respect of such leave as at the date of termination of employment.
4.3 Where any long service leave accrues to a Practitioner pursuant to clause 1.2.1, the Practitioner will be entitled to pay in respect of such leave as at the date of termination of employment.
4.4 Provided in the case of a Practitioner who accrues entitlement pursuant clause 1.2(a), and who intends to be re-employed by another Institution or Statutory Body:
4.4.1 such a Practitioner may in writing request payment in respect of such leave to be deferred until after the expiry of the Practitioner's allowable period of absence from employment provided in clause 2.4.7.
4.4.2 except where the Practitioner gives notice in writing that another Institution or Statutory Body has employed the Practitioner, payment will be made in respect of such leave at the expiry of the Practitioner's allowable period of absence from employment.
4.4.3 where a Practitioner gives notice in writing that the Practitioner has been employed by another Institution or Statutory Body, Western Health is no longer required to make payment to the Practitioner in respect of such leave.
4.5 Where an increase occurs in the ordinary time rate of pay during any period of long service leave taken by the Practitioner, the Practitioner will be entitled to receive payment of the amount of any increase in pay at the completion of such leave.
