Reimbursement for Professional Meetings. As a part of the in-service program for teachers in Harford County schools, provision is made for attendance at conferences which are closely related to the work of the individual teacher. With the approval of his or her principal, a teacher may be absent for such experiences without loss of salary. Upon the recommendation of the principal and with the approval of the Superintendent, a teacher may also be reimbursed for registration fees and lodging expenses incurred in the conference attendance.
