Common use of Rejection of Work; Orders of Condemnation Clause in Contracts

Rejection of Work; Orders of Condemnation. The Contractor shall remove from the premises within the time designated in orders of condemnation all Work condemned by the Engineer as failing to conform to the contract, whether incorporated in the Work or not, and the Contractor shall promptly replace and re-execute the Work in accordance with the Contract and without expense to the Owner and shall bear the expense of making good all work of other contractors destroyed by such removal or replacement. The Contractor shall supply any omitted Work and perform all unexecuted work within the time fixed by the Engineer in orders of condemnation.
