Common use of Release of Successful Candidate Clause in Contracts

Release of Successful Candidate. The employer will make all reasonable attempts to release a successful applicant to another position within twenty (20) working days from the date of offer. Should the employee not be released within the twenty (20) working days timeframe, they will start to receive their new higher salary* effective the 21st working day after the offer being made. The employer shall release successful applicants no later than sixty (60) working days from the date of offer, unless otherwise agreed to by the Employer and the Employee. The length of temporary assignments will not be reduced where the release date is beyond twenty (20) working days from the date of offer. Where there is a training requirement for a job, the release date and any salary adjustments will apply when the scheduled training starts.
