Right to Return to the Bargaining Unit a. If an employee accepts a District position that is not covered by this Agreement, the employee shall have the right, within the probationary period established for that position, to elect to return to his or her prior job classification, days off and shift. An employee who returns in the manner described above will not suffer loss of seniority under this Agreement.

  • Right to Return A promoted employee shall have the right to return to his/her previous position provided that he/she notifies his/her Department Head and the Secretary of the Civil Service Board of his/her intention to do so within 60 calendar days of the date the employee commences work in the promoted position.
