Released Time for Flex Activities. Attendance of flex activities shall be scheduled with the mutual agreement of the unit member and his/her supervisor, however, a supervisor may not deny the unit member’s attendance to a flex activity unless the unit member’s attendance would create a hardship for the work area. A “Flex Request” form shall be filled out in advance and given to the immediate supervisor for approval. Upon completion of the activity, the original form shall be given to the Office of Human Resources for placement in the unit member’s personnel file.
