Common use of Relief Time Clause in Contracts

Relief Time. Bargaining unit members who work beyond eight (8) hours in a day shall receive an additional fifteen (15) minute break every four hours worked after the initial eight (8) hours. In order for an employee to receive the additional break period, the work must be immediately before or after the employee’s workday. This shall not apply to bus drivers.
