Remote Substations. The increase of generation added to the National Grid sub- transmission line will require upgrading of the sub-transmission line prtotection equipment at the remote ends of the 34.5xx Xxxxxx –Patroon line # 5 to which the interconnection will be made. The change for both the Xxxxxx –Patroon Substation shall include, but not limited to development, implementation and testing of new settings for the existing line protection relay packages for coordination.

Remote Substations. Interconnection of the Large Generating Facility to Connecting Transmission Owner’s 69 kV sub-transmission system via the existing Marshville-Cobleskill Lines 16/17 will require modifications at the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Marshville and Cobleskill Substations, as further described below. Connecting Transmission Owner shall complete the engineering, procurement and construction of all System Upgrade Facilities at the Connecting Transmission Owner’s remote substations.

Connecting Transmission Owner shall complete the engineering, procurement and construction of all System Upgrade Facilities at the Connecting Transmission Owner’s remote substations.

Remote Substations. Interconnection of the Large Generating Facility to Connecting Transmission Owner’s 115 kV transmission system via the existing Feura Xxxx – North Catskill Line 2 and Lafarge – Churchtown Line 8 will require system modifications at the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Feura Xxxx – North Catskill Line 2 and the Lafarge – Flint Mine Road Line 8, protection and telecommunications will need to be coordinated with Lafarge and Central Xxxxxx. In addition, to accommodate the protection schemes at the Flint Mine Road Substation, a tuner package must be added at the tapped line of Xxxxxxx Corners Substation to block the carrier signal associated with the power line carrier (“PLC”) protection scheme going in at the Flint Mine Road Substation and Churchtown Station. System upgrades at the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Xxxxx Xxxx and Xxxxxxx Corners are as follows:

  • NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner Obligations Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO shall cause the New York State Transmission System and the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities to be operated, maintained and controlled in a safe and reliable manner in accordance with this Agreement and the NYISO Tariffs. Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO may provide operating instructions to Developer consistent with this Agreement, NYISO procedures and Connecting Transmission Owner’s operating protocols and procedures as they may change from time to time. Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO will consider changes to their respective operating protocols and procedures proposed by Developer.

  • Interconnection Facilities 4.1.1 The Interconnection Customer shall pay for the cost of the Interconnection Facilities itemized in Attachment 2 of this Agreement. The NYISO, in consultation with the Connecting Transmission Owner, shall provide a best estimate cost, including overheads, for the purchase and construction of its Interconnection Facilities and provide a detailed itemization of such costs. Costs associated with Interconnection Facilities may be shared with other entities that may benefit from such facilities by agreement of the Interconnection Customer, such other entities, the NYISO, and the Connecting Transmission Owner. 4.1.2 The Interconnection Customer shall be responsible for its share of all reasonable expenses, including overheads, associated with (1) owning, operating, maintaining, repairing, and replacing its own Interconnection Facilities, and

  • Underground Facilities All underground pipelines, conduits, ducts, cables, wires, manholes, vaults, tanks, tunnels, or other such facilities or attachments, and any encasements containing such facilities, including without limitation those that convey electricity, gases, steam, liquid petroleum products, telephone or other communications, cable television, water, wastewater, storm water, other liquids or chemicals, or traffic or other control systems.

  • Connecting Transmission Owner Obligations Connecting Transmission Owner shall maintain its transmission facilities and Attachment Facilities in a safe and reliable manner and in accordance with this Agreement.
