Common use of Repatriation Benefit Clause in Contracts

Repatriation Benefit. If injury results in the loss of life of an employee within 365 days of the date of the accident, the Insurance Company will pay the actual expense incurred for preparing the Deceased for burial and cremation and the shipment of the body of the employee to the city of residence of the Deceased, subject to a maximum amount as defined in the Letter of Understanding with the Insurance Carrier.
