Reporting of Injury. An employee should report an injury to the appropriate Department Head within twenty-four hours of the occurrence in order to ensure prompt coverage of the claim. In the event the employee is unable to complete the forms due to the injury or illness, the Department Head will complete and submit the required forms on behalf of the employee.
