Notification of Layoffs. The Employer shall provide written notice to the Association and to the employee 30 calendar days prior to the actual layoff. Such notice shall include written reasons for reduction and shall be kept in the individual employee’s personnel file.

Notification of Layoffs. 22.1.1.1 Prior to the issuance of notices to dismiss unit members, the County Office will notify the Association of all programs and numbers and types of personnel being reduced, including management supervisory personnel.
22.1.1.2 County Office agrees to notify the Association of the specific programs being reduced in which unit members shall receive notification immediately following adoption of the resolution to reduce program or lay off unit members due to ADA loss. 2. Teachers who have not attained professional teacher status to be laid off shall be so notified prior to June 15. Teachers who have achieved professional teacher status shall be so notified prior to May 15, subject, however, to the provisions in section C. 4. c) of Article XX, the provisions of which shall be controlling and extend the deadline for notification.
3. No layoff shall take effect except at the beginning of a school year.

Prior to a decision to reduce force by the Board, the Association and the affected teacher(s) shall be informed of the Board’s possible decision to reduce the number of staff. The Association and the affected staff person shall be informed of the RIF before any public announcement.
Notification of Layoffs. Whenever in the judgment of the College, there exists an occasion for layoffs from employment, the College agrees to give the Union ninety (90) days notice before putting any layoffs into effect.

Notification of Layoffs. 4.1.1 Prior to the issuance of layoff notices to certificated unit members, the District will notify the Association of the following:
4.1.1.1 A list of all programs being reduced which will result in certificated layoffs and the number of certificated personnel to be laid off, including certificated management personnel.
4.1.1.2 A list of any extra duty assignments, if any, being considered for reduction to the extent they are being considered for reduction at that time.
4.1.2 Certificated unit members to be laid off shall be notified in writing in accordance with applicable provisions of the Education Code.
