The Project consists of the following parts: Part A: Rehabilitation of Vulnerable and Damaged Infrastructure Carrying out the rehabilitation and reconstruction of damaged infrastructure, including, inter alia, school buildings and associated school infrastructure, community centers, strengthening a river defense site, stock-piling gabion baskets, and transport infrastructure, through the provision of works, technical advisory services and goods required therefor. Part B: Institutional Strengthening and Hazard and Risk Analysis Improving the capacity of the Ministry of Housing, Informal Human Settlements, Lands and Surveys and Physical Planning (MoHILP), and the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO), for evaluation of natural hazard and climate change risks, through the provision of training to the respective staff of MoHILP and NEMO, provision of technical advisory services and acquisition of goods required therefor. Part C: Project Management and Implementation Support Strengthening and developing the institutional capacity of the PSIPMU for Project management and execution, including procurement, financial management and supervision of Project activities, through the acquisition of goods, provision of technical advisory services, training, and operating costs required therefor.
Representative Access (A) The state agrees that designated Union Representatives shall have access to state controlled premises where employees are employed. (B) If any area of the state’s premises is otherwise restricted to the public, permission must be requested to enter such area and such permission shall not be unreasonably denied. Access shall be during the regular working hours of the employee and only for the purpose of investigating an employee’s grievance.
Union Representative Visits The Union shall inform the Employer in advance whenever the designated representatives of the Union intend to visit the Employer’s premises for the purpose of conducting Union business. Such visits shall not interfere with the normal operations of the worksite. Reasonable accommodation will be made to allow the Presidents of the Unions to have access to union members to conduct union business.
