Common use of Requests for Negotiations Clause in Contracts

Requests for Negotiations. If either of the parties desires to negotiate any subject covered by Article 2.01 of this Agreement, it shall notify the other party in writing between 60 and 100 days prior to the expiration of this Agreement. Notification in writing from the Association shall be served on the Superintendent, and notice from the Board shall be addressed to the President of the Association. A meeting shall be scheduled within fifteen (15) calendar days or a mutually agreed to date at which time proposals shall be exchanged.

A meeting copy of said notification shall be scheduled within fifteen (15) calendar days or a mutually agreed sent to date at which time proposals shall be exchangedthe State Employment Relations Board.
