Common use of Required Certificates Clause in Contracts

Required Certificates. (a) First aid requirements made pursuant to the Workers’ Compensation Act shall be fully complied with. (b) Where the Employer requires an employee to be qualified to perform first aid duties, or required to hold certificates or licenses, the cost of renewing the required certificate shall be borne by the Employer. Time spent at the course shall be without loss of pay. Time spent in attendance at a course on a day of rest shall be compensated at straight-time.
