Resident Engineering, Contract Administration / Change Orders. Consultant will assign a Resident Engineer to administer the construction contract, coordinate field changes with the Project Manager, log and issue field orders, write and issue change orders, track budgets and schedule, verify extra work bills, and provide technical support to the Project Manager. All final decisions regarding contract administration that affect project scope, schedule, or cost rest with the City Project Manager, after conferring with the Consultant Resident Engineer. Consultant Resident Engineer will recommend payment of Contractor progress payments, which will be approved by the City Project Manager. Deliverables: Provide all required administration necessary to manage construction contract and construction process.

  • Engineering Services Definition: Engineering Services includes any service or creative work, the adequate performance of which requires education, training and experience in the application of special knowledge in consulting, investigating, evaluating, planning and designing, engineering principles. Engineering Services covered by the Xxxxxx Architect-Engineers Act (40 U.S.C. 1102) are not covered in the primary scope of OASIS SB. DIR reserves the right to require a change in Vendor’s then-current Contract Manager if the assigned Contract Manager is not, in the reasonable opinion of DIR, adequately serving the needs of the State.
