RESIDENTIAL STANDARDS Clause Samples

The Residential Standards clause sets the minimum quality and performance requirements for construction or renovation work in residential properties. It typically outlines the specific codes, regulations, or industry benchmarks that must be met, such as local building codes, safety standards, or workmanship expectations. By clearly defining these standards, the clause ensures that the finished work is safe, habitable, and compliant with legal requirements, thereby protecting both the property owner and contractor from disputes over quality or compliance.
