Responsibility for Safety of Contractor Personnel. 8.4.1 The Contractor shall, throughout the duration of the Contract be responsible for the safety of the Contractor’s Personnel and agrees that the Contractor’s Personnel, whilst on the Site, shall attend and conduct safety drills as may be directed by, or on behalf of, the Corporation.

  • Responsibility for Subcontractors All requirements for the “Prime” contractor shall also apply to any and all subcontractors. It is the Prime Contractors’ responsibility to insure the compliance by the subcontractors. At all times the Prime Contractor remains liable to the Authority for the performance and compliance of his/her subcontractors.

  • Contractor's responsibility for subcontractors The Contractor shall be as fully responsible to the City for the acts and omissions of its subcontractors, and of persons either directly or indirectly employed by them, as Contractor is for the acts and omissions of persons it directly employs. Contractor shall cause appropriate provisions to be inserted in all subcontracts relating to this work, to bind all subcontractors to Contractor by all the terms herein set forth, and insofar as applicable to the work of subcontractors and to give Contractor the same power regarding termination of any subcontract as the City may exercise over Contractor under any provisions of this contract. Nothing contained in this contract shall create any contractual relation between the subcontractor and the City or between any subcontractors.

  • Supervision of Contractor Personnel The Contractor must supply all necessary and sufficient supervision over the work that is being performed and will be held solely responsible for the conduct and performance of his employees or agents involved in work under the Agreement.

  • PRIME CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES The Contractor shall be responsible for completely supervising and directing the work under this Contract and all subcontractors that Contractor may utilize, using best skill and attention. Subcontractors who perform work under this Contract shall be responsible to the prime Contractor. The Contractor agrees that it is as fully responsible for the acts and omissions of subcontractors and of persons employed by them as Contractor is for the acts and omissions of its own employees.

  • PRIME CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITY The contractor will be required to assume prime contractor responsibility for the contract and will be the sole point of contact with regard to all commodities, services and support. The prime contractor may delegate facilitation of contract orders to their “Authorized/Certified Dealers” only. This delegation will in no way relieve the contractor of any contractual obligations set forth in this Contract Award.
