  • EMPLOYEES, SUBCONTRACTORS & AGENTS All employees, Subcontractors or agents performing work under the Contract must be trained staff or technicians who meet or exceed the professional, technical and training qualifications set forth in the Bid Specifications or the Bid Documents, whichever is more restrictive, and must comply with all security and administrative requirements of the Authorized User. The Commissioner reserves the right to conduct a security background check or otherwise approve any employee, Subcontractor or agent furnished by Contractor and to refuse access to or require replacement of any personnel for cause based on, including but not limited to, professional, technical or training qualifications, quality of work or change in security status or non- compliance with Authorized User’s security or other requirements. Such approval shall not relieve the Contractor of the obligation to perform all work in compliance with the Contract terms. The Commissioner reserves the right to reject and/or bar from the facility for cause any employee, Subcontractor, or agents of the Contractor.

  • Safe and Respectful Workplace 69.1 The Parties recognise that everyone is entitled to work in an environment that is free of discrimination, harassment and bullying. It is the Employer’s responsibility to ensure it complies with relevant legislative requirements including the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 (Vic). 69.2 Accordingly, the Parties agree to the Sexual Harassment principles and the Respect Code in Appendix J. 69.3 In accordance with those principles the following points will be covered in the Employer’s on site induction: (a) It is everyone’s responsibility to respect women’s right to work without having to experience unacceptable behaviour. (b) Disrespectful actions and behaviours which express power inequalities between women and men and cause physical, sexual, psychological or economic harm to women are unacceptable on site. (c) Unacceptable behaviours that women face in the workplace include: (i) stalking and intimidation; (ii) threats and verbal abuse; (iii) ostracism; (iv) rude gestures and put downs; (v) offensive language and imagery; (vi) sexual innuendo / insinuations; (vii) sexual suggestions and/or unwanted advances; and (viii) sexual assault. (d) These behaviours at work present serious OHS risks which may cause significant physical and psychological injury. (e) This respect must also be extended to other visitors to the site and members of the public.

  • THE ACADEMY The Academy is a Mainstream Academy as defined in clause 1.4 of the Master Agreement.

  • Cessation and Resumption of Work 24.15.1 At the time employees cease work due to inclement weather the employer or the employers representative on site and the employee’s representative shall agree and note the time of cessation of work. 24.15.2 After the period of inclement weather has clearly ended the employees shall resume work and the time shall be similarly agreed and noted.

  • Connecting Transmission Owner’s Scope of Work and Responsibilities The Connecting Transmission Owner will design, construct, own, operate and maintain all Connecting Transmission Owner’s Interconnection Facilities, except as otherwise stated above and in the Project Specific Specifications. The Connecting Transmission Owner will complete all engineering reviews, field verifications and witness testing, etc. in accordance with the ESBs and the Project Specific Specifications. Connecting Transmission Owner shall provide the revenue metering CT/PT units and meter socket enclosure. The Connecting Transmission Owner shall: • provide, run, and wire both ends of the color-coded cable for the revenue metering instrument transformer secondary wiring; • perform all terminations; and • supply and install the meter. The revenue meter may require a communications link to the RTU. The Connecting Transmission Owner will specify and run those communications cables. The Connecting Transmission Owner shall complete all wiring, testing and commissioning of the RTU.
